Awards
A requirement for receiving an Award is that the recipient must attend the full conference period.
Founder's Award
Junior faculty within ten years of their first Faculty appointment as an independent investigator as of the date of the conference will be considered for the awards.
New Award
We are happy to announce that the ICCBMT board of directors has created four merit-based early career awards, called the Founder’s Awards. Four awards will be given, in the combined names of Drs. Arthur Veis, William Butler, Melvin Glimcher and Dr. Adele Boskey.
The main criteria for a named Founder’s Award will be excellence of the submitted abstracts (scoring), and potential impact of the work on the field of mineralized tissues. If four meritorious candidates with well-scoring abstracts are not identified, then a lesser number of awards will be given. No individual can be the recipient of both a Founder’s Award and an ICCBMT Travel Award.
Would you like to be considered for a Founders Award?
ICCBMT Travel Award
This section to be completed only by Student & Postdoctoral/Clinical Fellow Presenter. (ie. the asterisked name in the abstract)
We are also happy to announce we will be continuing the ICCBMT tradition of awarding a maximum number of travel awards.
Student and post-doctoral/clinical fellow presenters will be considered for a Travel Award to help defray the cost of the meeting.
If you are in this category of presenters, do you wish to be considered for this Travel Award?
If "Yes" > we must receive a SIGNED STATUS CONFIRMATION LETTER from your supervisor or department head verifying your student or postdoctoral/clinical fellow status (not a recommendation letter, simply a statement attesting to status).
